Questions
Frequently Asked
Questions
Are you accepting new patients / clients?
Yes, and once you reach out an initial appointment will be scheduled within a few weeks.
Can I do a walk-in appoinment?
No. We will get you an appointment a.s.a.p. However, if you need immediate assistance, we will refer you to a crisis center.
Do therapists offer evening and weekend sessions?
Some therapists work evenings. Therapists at FCS generally do not work Friday through Sunday. Therapists and clients will co-create a safety plan with numbers of people and/or organizations they can call in a crisis.
How long is a therapy session?
A therapy session is typically 50-60min.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. We take many insurances but not every therapist is paneled with every insurance. See list of insurances taken https://www.fcshealingnow.org/insurance. Staff will do their best to pair you with a therapist that takes your insurance.
What if I don’t have insurance?
We have a sliding scale based on annual income and number of dependents within the household. The sliding scale fee ranges from $35-$75 if you qualify.
